In light of the situation going on with Hurricane Ike, I’ll put off that Palin column a day or two given the fact that we might have ourselves a really bad situation in Houston and Galveston. I just can’t bring myself to publish something that pales in comparison to a horrible storm. Please send positive vibes to our fellow brothers and sisters in the affected areas so that they may pull though with strength, hope, and courage.
Also best wishes go to Mudflats posters/readers attending the “Alaska Women Reject Palin” rally, which will be happening the same time as a farewell/pep-rally for Governor Moosellini on Saturday. They are going to be small in number, but big in spirit. Hopefully their First Amendment Rights will be protected, and not interfered with by those who wish to stifle the truth and the triumph of the Human Spirit. Blogger Extraordinaire AK Muckraker will be reporting from both venues. All the details are here: http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/09/12/dueling-palin-rallies-in-anchorage
So much has gone on the past two days, my head is all over the place. Thanks again for the recent comments re: Memories Of Two Towers Struck Down. Stick around…I have a lot more to say, I promise…just ask my wife and kids!
